As much as you might still be in holiday mode (read: lazy), it is vital to have your best moisturising lotions at hand and use them daily. Go easy on the exfoliation
If you want to exfoliate – doing so will make your skin glowier after all – proceed with caution. Any exfoliators with acids such as glycolic or salicylic will make your tan fade much faster, so opt for a gentle scrub to remove dead skin cells.

Waxing and hair-removal creams will strip your tan in the same way acid-based exfoliators do. Stick to shaving if you want your tan to stick around for longer.
A slightly boring tip, but drinking lots of water will keep your body – and your skin – hydrated, and something you should be doing in high temperatures anyway.
Use a gradual tanner
Top up your natural glow with a buildable tinted gel. It will be so much easier to get a streak-free result if you’re already somewhat bronzed. The Nu Skin® Sunright® Insta Glow gives an instant touch of sun-kissed radiance for the face or body. The formula, which is enriched with skin-loving ingredients, builds over time to give a deeper looking tan.
To give any remaining tan some dimension, try using a wash-off product with some shimmer. We’re not talking full on glitter but a subtle sparkle to see you through the rest of the season.
