How to keep your natural hair in pristine condition this summer
If you’re either a)a Bond girl or b) genetically blessed with cooperative hair that turns into the perfect salty tresses after a dip in the ocean – we salute you.

However, if you’re like us and a quick swim ends in a dry, frizzy mess, we’ve got a few quick tips that might help keep your locks hydrated and on their best behaviour this season.
1. Consider a keratin treatment
Otherwise known as the “Brazilian blowout”, a keratin treatment is a chemical process which is best known for keeping frizzy or wavy hair straight and smooth.
And while it might set you back anywhere between $200 - $500 at your hair salon, a keratin treatment will last you roughly three months and take all the hassle of having to de-frizz and tame your hair every morning.
If you aren’t ready for the in-salon treatment but your hair is in desperate need of a bit of extra strength and shine, kick your blow-dry game up a notch instead with Remington’s Keratin & Argan Oil Nourish Hair Dryer. Infused with the hair strengthening chemical, this dryer will simultaneously keep the frizz at bay, while nourishing and enhancing your hairs natural shine.
2. Try co-washing
If you’ve never heard of this hair washing method (and you just so happen to have curly or a very dry hair type), you could be in luck.
By skipping the shampoo and going straight to conditioner, this method works to minimise the amount of natural oils stripped in the washing process, keeping your hair more hydrated, silky and smooth.
We recommend soaking your hair with water, then using a hair mask rich in proteins and cocoa butter like the Schwarzkopf BIO-TECH Repair 4-IN-1 Treatment, for ultimate hydration and to protect against breakage. The end result? Shiny, moisture-rich hair.
3. Keep things hydrated
All hair types benefit from a little hydration and the easiest way to achieve this (apart from drinking your required amount of H2O a day) is by investing in some deeply nourishing hair treatments. Look out for ingredients like coconut or argan oil to help seal in moisture and keep your locks shiny.
We love the Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum.
