How to pick the right concealer
They work to conceal and cover a multitude of skincare concerns, but when it comes to which is right for which skincare gripe, as it turns out, not all concealers are created equal. Here's our pick of some of the best in the business for targeted treatment.

This is possibly the trickiest problem for a concealer as pigmentation differs in shape and size on everyone. For best results first use a foundation to even out your skin tone. Next, for pigmented areas use the concealer to take out some of the darkness. Set with a translucent powder to keep it in place all day.

When you're covering up acne you don't want to think about reapplying throughout the day, so you need to invest in a heavy-duty concealer. Some people may worry about not letting the skin breathe; however, most modern formulations have ingredients that work to look after skin. One key consideration is what you're using to apply the product. Avoid applying product directly from the stick or tube to the infected area as this will work to spread the bacteria. Instead apply with a clean fingertip or a cotton bud and wash your hands afterwards.
