New floral perfumes that are like a bouquet in a bottle

Yesterday we saw two daffodils in the wild, so it’s official. Forget what the calendar, or the temperature, says: spring has sprung! In our book anyway.
Another signifier is the arrival of so many pretty new floral fragrances landing on counters.

If you’re yet to remain convinced of the change in season, close your eyes, take a whiff of one of these and just imagine the rain clouds have parted.
Whether its a bunch of roses you’d pick, (red or pink) a heady citrus blossom or a spray of delicate wildflowers, there are options to suit.
Let us introduce you to our favourites:
Elie Saab Le Parfum Royal 50ml EDP, $170
There’s no apologies to be made about being both assertive and ultra-feminine. Similarly, dripping with nectar, the orange blossom in Elie Saab Le Parfum Royal snatches the spotlight, but a heart of Turkish and Bulgarian roses and an underlying warmth of patchouli reveals a more complex character.
Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey Rose&Rose 50ml EDP, $164
Far from nostalgic and old-fashioned incarnations of rose, this botanical garden’s worth of blooms (Bulgarian and cabbage roses) also has a fresh and fruity perimeter or raspberry and pear.
Ouai Melrose Place 50ml EDP, $86
One of two debut perfumes from hip hair brand Ouai. Creator Jen Atkin took the much-loved scents of her sought-after styling products and turned them into slightly more well-rounded fragrances. Melrose Place is a glamorous ode to the famous LA street with a champagne opening rounded out with a freesia, bergamot, rose and peony bunch.
Tocca Gia 50ml EDP, $131
A unique turkish rose scent made sprightly by the citrus and pink peppercorn elements, Tocca Gia is modern and romantic rather than musty. It’s got enough depth to carry you through day and night, well into the summer season.
Azzaro Wanted Girl 50ml EDP, $143
Paired with the freshness of acidic pomegranate, the creators of Azzaro Wanted Girl mixed orange blossom absolute and ginger essence to give the scent a stunning radiance, but like dessert after the main course, a delicious dulce de leche note gives it an addictive quality.
Kenzo Flower Eau De Vie 50ml EDP, $134
A twist on the cult Flower by Kenzo scent which originally launched in 2000 and has stayed in hot demand since. Kenzo Flower Eau De Vie is a fresh spicy twist (ginger again!) with orange blossom and roses. Are we sensing a theme?!
Which new perfume sounds like a bit of you?

Azarro Wanted Girl perfume. Like the shape. I would fit comfortably in my hand whilst spritzing myself with the scent. the orange blossom scent looks enticing. Reminds me of a perfume you would use if you are getting married.
