Pure Clay Detoxifying + Brightening Charcoal Mask Reviews

I haven’t had a mask in years and found this tempting at a 50% off sale so thought why not!
I’ve had great success with other Loreal products recently so bought this with confidence it would do as it says...brightens the skin and detoxifies.
In the same lovely jar as my day and night cream...this mask glides on well and is recommended to stay in for 10-15 minutes.
Washing off after 15 minutes, it did take a little longer than I expected but I think next time I’ll use a face washer rather than just my hands with warm water.
My face felt very smooth afterwards but I noticed some faint red marks at my hairline and temple area. Over the next hour my face became quite tight and uncomfortable so I applied my day cream to sooth. The redness subsided after about an hour.
Overall I have noticed that days later my skin is still really smooth and the pores on my chin (a trouble spot for me) are much reduced.

This face mask will leave your skin look brighter and cleaner and you will also feel that your skin is cleansed from inside as it works wonders on deep pore cleansing. I have got a combination skin and my skin is very sensitive. Therefore, I am very selective in choosing my skin care products, Truly speaking, I didn't get any redness or acne after the use. Instead the feeling was absolutely great. I felt the radiance for a couple of days!!

I really like using this charcoal clay mask on my T-zone to give it a really good deep clean. It makes that part of my face feel really fresh and balances out any oiliness, which is something I don't usually have a problem with, thankfully, but I can see that my skin looks just a little more matte after I use the mask. The thing I like most about it is it does all of that - deep cleans, mattifies and balances, without drying my skin in the process.

I'll start by saying that I prefer the clay face masks that you mix up from powder into a paste. Often when they are pre-made, they seem to dry out very quickly before I can finish the package. I didn't have that problem with this product which is excellent. I probably won't re-purchase just because I found it to be a little drying on my skin, however if this suits your skin type this could be really great!

The mask comes in a clay pot with no spatula or brush so i would recommend using a small flat makeup brush to apply the mask.

The only reason I've given the product four stars is because after it dries my skin is really tight and can literally not move, which is slightly uncomfortable for me.
