Escaping to a far-flung destination is becoming increasingly popular, whether couples get hitched alone or with fewer guests. Taking pride of place with millennials is sustainability, with the age group seeking a more minimal day. From the dress to the tableware, there are a whole number of ways to make your wedding better for the planet.
Forget the chapel – outdoor locations like the backyard and beach are more popular than ever. Searches for backyard wedding is up 441%, while small beach weddings have increased by 511%.
No matter what, your wedding day should be about staying true to yourself. Pinterest has identified this as a key trend, including everything from embracing your body to wearing a suit.
